- You should not use Silver nitrate topical,ophthalamic,if you are allergic to it.
- Protect clothing and fabrics from staining.
- Do not take silver nitrate ointment and solution by mouth. Use on your skin only.
- Wash your hands before and after use. Do not wash your hands after use if putting this on your hand. Use this medicine (silver nitrate sticks) as ordered by your doctor.
- Keep out of your eyes.
- Put on the affected part as you have been told. Do not use 2 doses or extra doses.
