TERFENADINE is a Schedule H drug.
Terfenadine is an antihistamine. Antihistamines prevent sneezing, runny nose, itching and watering of the eyes, and other allergic symptoms. Terfenadine is used to treat allergies, hives (urticaria), and other allergic inflammatory conditions.

How Do I Take It?

TERFENADINE is generally taken With Food.
Route of Administration: Oral

Precautions

  • Take each dose with a full glass (8 ounces) of water. Do not crush, break, or chew the tablets. Swallow them whole.
  • Do not take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant. It is not known whether Terfenadine passes into breast milk. Do not take terfenadine without first talking to your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
  • Caution should be exercised in patients with history asthma, lung disease, urinary retention, enlarged prostate, kidney or liver disease, heart disease, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
  • It may cause dizziness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
  • Avoid alcohol consumption.

TERFENADINE over-dosage can result in: Head Headache, Drowsiness, Irregular Heartbeat, Nausea, Vomit
