LOMUSTINE is a Schedule H drug.
Lomustine is a cancer medicine that interferes with the growth of cancer cells and slows their spread in the body. Lomustine is used to treat brain tumors in people who have already received surgery or radiation. Lomustine is also used to treat Hodgkin’s disease. Lomustine is sometimes given with other cancer medicines.

LOMUSTINE is generally taken Before Food.
Route of Administration: Oral

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of bone marrow, heart, lung, breathing, liver, or kidney problems, any infection, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid contact with people who have infections.  Avoid long-term use of this medication; otherwise patient may develop with increased risk of secondary cancer.  Monitor liver, kidney, lung function and complete blood cell counts regularly while taking this medication.

Symptoms of Overdosage

LOMUSTINE over-dosage can result in: Abdomen Pain, Vomit, Loose Motion, Loss Of Appetite, Dizziness, Cough, Shortness Of Breath

LOMUSTINE : Gums Bleeding, Chest Pain, Shortness Of Breath, Throat Soreness, White Spots, Fatigue (tiredness), Weakness (generalized), Black (tar) Colored Stools, Blood Or Red Colored Urine, Confusion, Cough, Hoarse Voice, Decreased Urination, Fever, Chills, Lower Back Pain, Pain With Urination, Pale Skin, Slurred Speech

Serious Side-Effects

LOMUSTINE : Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Confusion, Legs Swelling, Eyes Blurred Vision, Abdomen Pain, Black (tar) Colored Stools, Vomit, Eyes Yellow Eyes, Dark Colored (brown) Urine, Difficulty Breathing

Rare Side-Effects

LOMUSTINE : Skin Rash, Dizziness, Difficulty Breathing, Face Swelling, Body Itching
