ATAZANAVIR is a Schedule H drug.
Atazanavir is an antiviral medicine that prevents human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from multiplying in your body. Atazanavir is used with other medications to treat HIV, the virus that can cause acquired immunodeficiency virus (AIDS). Atazanavir is not a cure for HIV or AIDS.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of kidney problems or who are on dialysis, blood disorder, diabetes, heart problems or liver problems, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.  It may cause dizziness or lightheadedness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.  Avoid sexual contact during the treatment period. It may raise blood sugar level; monitor blood sugar regularly while taking this medication.

    Symptoms of Overdosage

    ATAZANAVIR over-dosage can result in: Difficulty Breathing, Dizziness, Lightheadedness
