LOGICAL SUSP

Overview

LOGICAL SUSP is an Over-the-counter (OTC) drug.

LOGICAL SUSP is composed of: VIT D3 CHOLECALCIFEROL (200 IU), CALCIUM CARBONATE (30 MG/ML), LYSINE (20 MG)

Calcium is a mineral that is found naturally in foods. Calcium is necessary for many normal functions of the body, especially bone formation and maintenance.Calcium carbonate is used to prevent or to treat a calcium deficiency. This medication is used to treat symptoms caused by too much stomach acid such as heartburn, upset stomach, or indigestion. It is an antacid that works by lowering the amount of acid in the stomach.

Lysine is an amino acid and it is also known as L-2,6-diaminohexanoic acid, Lisina, Lys, Lysine Hydrochloride, Lysine Monohydrochloride, and other names.Lysine has been used in alternative medicine as a possibly effective aid in treating cold sores due to herpes simplex.Proteins of the herpes simplex virus are rich in L-arginine, and tissue culture studies indicate an enhancing effect on viral replication when the amino acid ratio of L-arginine to L-lysine is high in the tissue culture media. When the ratio of L-lysine to L-arginine is high, viral replication and the cytopathogenicity of herpes simplex virus have been found to be inhibited. L-lysine may facilitate the absorption of calcium from the small intestine.
