VALZ 40MG TAB is generally taken With Food.

Precautions


Caution should be exercised in patients with history of low blood volume, low blood pressure, dehydration, low-salt diet, bipolar disorder, mental problems, suicidal thoughts, alcohol abuse, liver, kidney, bleeding problems, seizures, who are taking other medications, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid alcohol consumption. Patient may develop with increased risk of suicidal thoughts; watch them carefully. It should not be used in children. Patient may develop with increased risk neuroleptic malignant syndrome (NMS), and serotonin syndrome with the following symptoms: depressed mood, anxiety, restlessness, irritability, panic attacks, fever, stiff muscles, confusion, abnormal thinking, fast or irregular heartbeat. If it is so consult with your doctor.

Serious Side-Effects

VILAZODONE : Diarrhoea, Seizures (uncontrollable Jerking Of Limbs), Restless Or Irritability, Agitation, Confusion, Memory Problems, Weakness (generalized), Mood Swings, Black (tar) Colored Stools, Easy Bruising, Eyes Pain, Eyes Enlarged (dilated) Pupils, Eyes Blurred Vision

Rare Side-Effects

VILAZODONE : Skin Rash, Dizziness, Loss Of Coordination, Rapid Heart Rate (pulse), Hallucinations, Fever

VILAZODONE can interfere with: Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Glaucoma, Hyponatremia, Seizure
