RENFOR TAB is composed of: MYCOPHENOLIC ACID (360 MG)

This medication is an immunosuppressant agent. Mycophenolic acid weakens your body’s immune system, to help keep it from rejecting a transplanted organ such as a kidney. Organ rejection happens when the immune system treats the new organ as an invader and attacks it.

  • Caution should be exercised in patients with history of active peptic ulcer, blood disorders, severe kidney impairment, polyomavirus infections, gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Patient may develop with increased risk of certain types of cancer, if it so consult with your doctor immediately.
  • Avoid exposure to sunlight/UV light.
  • Women taking this medication should seek contraceptive counseling.

MYCOPHENOLIC ACID : Black (tar) Colored Stools, Gums Bleeding, Abdomen Bloating Or Fullness, Body Pain, Back Pain, Confusion, Constipation, Convulsions, Cough, Decreased Urination, Depressed Mood, Pain With Urination, Dizziness, Drowsiness, Dry Mouth, Fainting, Fever, Chills, Head Headache, Slurred Speech, Increased Thirst, Loss Of Appetite, Loss Of Voice, Bad Taste In Mouth, Nausea, Vomit, Mouth Soreness, Pale Skin, Runny Nose, Sneezing, Throat Soreness, Body Excessive Sweating, Eyes Sunken Eyes, Weakness (generalized), Fatigue (tiredness)

Food Interactions


Take mycophenolic acid on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Food may reduce the absorption of mycophenolic acid. This will make it easier for your body to absorb the medication. Do not crush, chew, or cut the tablets. The tablets have a special coating to protect the stomach from irritation.
