MEBEX TAB is composed of: MEBENDAZOLE (100 MG)

Mebendazole is an anthelmintic or anti-worm medication. It prevents newly hatched insect larvae (worms) from growing or multiplying in your body. Mebendazole is used to treat infections caused by worms such as whipworm, pinworm, roundworm, and hookworm. It is also used to treat infections caused by more than one of these worms at the same time.

Precautions for MEBEX TAB and its Constituents


Caution should be exercised in patients with history of worm infection, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid long-term use of this medication. Avoid contact with people who have infections.

Symptoms of Overdosage

MEBENDAZOLE over-dosage can result in: Upper Abdomen Pain, Loss Of Appetite, Dark Colored (brown) Urine, Eyes Yellow Eyes

Common Side-Effects

MEBENDAZOLE : Diarrhoea, Abdomen Pain, Vomit, Head Headache, Loose Motion, Dizziness

Serious Side-Effects

MEBENDAZOLE : Throat Soreness, Abdomen Pain, Fatigue (tiredness), Seizures (uncontrollable Jerking Of Limbs), Weakness (generalized), Dark Colored (brown) Urine, Eyes Yellow Eyes

Rare Side-Effects

MEBENDAZOLE : Hives, Skin Rash, Face Swelling, Body Itching, Dizziness, Difficulty Breathing, Nausea, Vomit
