AEROCORT INHALER is a Schedule H drug.

AEROCORT INHALER is composed of: BECLOMETASONE (50 MCG), SALBUTAMOL (50 MCG)

Beclomethasone is a steroid. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Beclomethasone inhalation is used to prevent asthma attacks in adults and children who are at least 5 years old. This medication will not treat an asthma attack that has already begun.


Salbutamol is a bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens airways. This makes breathing easier. Salbutamol is used in the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

AEROCORT INHALER is generally taken Before Food.

Precautions for AEROCORT INHALER and its Constituents


Caution should be exercised in patients with history of tuberculosis (TB), chickenpox, liver, kidney or heart disease, sugar, under active thyroid, high blood pressure, mental illness, muscle pain/weakness, joint inflammation, eye infection, seizures, ulcer, any allergy, who taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid contact with eyes. Since it takes time to get rid off from your health condition, continue to use it as directed by your healthcare provider. Avoid contact with people with chickenpox, measles or shingles.
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart disease, high blood pressure, or congestive heart failure, a heart rhythm disorder; epilepsy, diabetes, overactive thyroid, kidney problems, adrenal gland tumor, who are taking other medications, any allergy, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. An inhaler should not be given to a child younger than 4 years old. salbutamol solution in a nebulizer should not be given to a child younger than 2 years of age.

SALBUTAMOL : Anxiety, Flu, Head Headache, Dry Mouth, Palpitations (fluttering In Chest), Difficulty Sleeping, Dizziness, Drowsiness, Slow Heart Rate (pulse), Chest Pain, Nausea, Vomit, Cough
