REPAGLINIDE is a Schedule H drug.
Repaglinide is an oral diabetes medicine that helps control blood sugar levels by causing the pancreas to produce insulin. Repaglinide is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This medicine is not for treating type 1 diabetes.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of adrenal, pituitary, liver, or kidney problems, high blood acid levels, high fever, poor nutrition, alcoholism, severe infection, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid alcohol consumption. Monitor fasting blood sugar and hemoglobin A1c level regularly while taking this medication.

Symptoms of Overdosage

REPAGLINIDE over-dosage can result in: Eyes Blurred Vision, Weakness (generalized), Body Excessive Sweating, Slurred Speech, Abdomen Pain, Confusion, Seizures (uncontrollable Jerking Of Limbs), Rapid Heart Rate (pulse), Agitation, Fainting

REPAGLINIDE : Anxiety, Eyes Blurred Vision, Chills, Confusion, Pale Skin, Dizziness, Rapid Heart Rate (pulse), Head Headache, Nausea, Seizures (uncontrollable Jerking Of Limbs), Slurred Speech, Blood Or Red Colored Urine, Lower Back Pain

Serious Side-Effects

REPAGLINIDE : Frequent Urination, Confusion, Drowsiness, Rapid Heart Rate (pulse), Fruity Odor On Breath

REPAGLINIDE : Face Swelling, Dizziness, Difficulty Breathing
