NILANDRON

Overview

NILANDRON is a Schedule H drug.
Nilandron treats prostate cancer. Can cause hot flashes. Nilandron is a prescription medication used together with surgery to treat prostate cancer. Nilandron belongs to a group of drugs called antiandrogens. It works by blocking the effects of testosterone (a male hormone), to stop the growth and spread of prostate cancer cells. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how it affects you.

  • Before taking nilandron, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.
  • Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of lung disease, liver problems.
  • This drug may rarely make you dizzy or drowsy or cause vision changes. Alcohol or marijuana can make you more dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs alertness or clear vision until you can do it safely.
  • Nilandron should not be used in women. Women who are pregnant should avoid touching or accidentally taking this medication. It may harm an unborn baby. Consult your doctor for more information.
  • It is not known whether this drug passes into breast milk. Women who are breast-feeding should avoid touching or accidentally taking this medication.

Serious Side-Effects

NILANDRON : Eyes Blurred Vision, Chest Pain, Irregular Heartbeat, Rapid Heart Rate (pulse), Shortness Of Breath

NILANDRON : Fainting, Weight Loss (unintentional), Cough, Decreased Urination
