SOLITRAL TAB is a Schedule H drug.

SOLITRAL TAB is composed of: ALFUZOSIN (10 MG), SOLIFENACIN (5 MG)

Alfuzosin is an Alpha drenergic blocker. It helps to relax the muscles in the prostate and Bladder neck making it easier to urinate.
alfuzosin is used to improve urination in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Solifenacin reduces muscle spasms of the bladder and urinary tract. Solifenacin is used to treat symptoms of overactive bladder, such as frequent or urgent urination, and incontinence (urine leakage).

Precautions for SOLITRAL TAB and its Constituents


Caution should be exercised in the patients with history of irregular heart beat, chest pain, prostate cancer and low blood pressure.
It may cause dizziness. Don’t drive while taking this medication.
Alfuzosin is prescribed only for men. women shouldn’t take this medicine especially during pregnancy and lactation.


Caution should be exercised in patients with history of increased eye pressure, liver or kidney disease, heart problem, stomach or intestinal problems, constipation, difficulty in urinating, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause dizziness or blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid exposure to sunlight; otherwise it may lead to heatstroke.

SOLIFENACIN : Dry Mouth, Constipation, Drowsiness, Abdomen Upset Stomach, Eyes Blurred Vision, Eyes Dry Eyes, Head Headache, Fatigue (tiredness), Weakness (generalized)

Serious Side-Effects

ALFUZOSIN : Urticaria, Angioedema, Pruritus, Nasal Congestion, Throat Soreness, Sneezing, Fever, Head Headache, Heartburn
SOLIFENACIN : Abdomen Pain, Difficulty Urinating, Pain With Urination, Blood Or Red Colored Urine, Mood Swings, Confusion, Hallucinations

ALFUZOSIN : Priapism, Rhinitis, Fainting, Confusion, Chills, Increased Sensitivity To Cold
SOLIFENACIN : Skin Rash, Dizziness, Difficulty Breathing, Face Swelling, Body Itching
