Overview

SIROMUS 1MG TAB is a Schedule H drug.

SIROMUS 1MG TAB is composed of: SIROLIMUS (1.0 MG)

Sirolimus is an immunosuppressant. It works by suppressing your body’s immune response following transplant of an organ (eg. liver, kidney, heart). This helps your body to accept the new organ as if it were your own. Sirolimus is used to prevent prevention of kidney transplant rejection. Sirolimus is also given without other medicines to treat a rare lung disorder called lymphangioleiomyomatosis (Lim-FAN-gee-oh-LYE-oh-MYE-oh-ma-TOE-sis). This disorder happens mostly in women and causes lung tumors that are not cancerous but can affect breathing.
