Overview

PEDICAL SYP is a Schedule H drug.

PEDICAL SYP is composed of: LYSINE (300 MG), NIACINAMIDE (25 MG), ZINC SULFATE (20 MG), D-PANTHENOL (10 MG), CYANOCOBALAMIN (3 MCG), RIBOFLAVIN (2.5 MG), SORBITOL (2.5 MG), THIAMINE HYDROCHLORIDE (2.5 MG), PYRIDOXINE (1 MG)

Lysine is an amino acid and it is also known as L-2,6-diaminohexanoic acid, Lisina, Lys, Lysine Hydrochloride, Lysine Monohydrochloride, and other names.Lysine has been used in alternative medicine as a possibly effective aid in treating cold sores due to herpes simplex.Proteins of the herpes simplex virus are rich in L-arginine, and tissue culture studies indicate an enhancing effect on viral replication when the amino acid ratio of L-arginine to L-lysine is high in the tissue culture media. When the ratio of L-lysine to L-arginine is high, viral replication and the cytopathogenicity of herpes simplex virus have been found to be inhibited. L-lysine may facilitate the absorption of calcium from the small intestine.

Cyanocobalamin is a man-made form of vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is important for growth, cell reproduction, blood formation, and protein and tissue synthesis. Cyanocobalamin is used to tret vitamin B12 deficiency in people with pernicious anemia and other conditions.
