EFACID SYP

Overview

EFACID SYP is an Over-the-counter (OTC) drug.

EFACID SYP is composed of: MAGALDRATE (500 MG), SODIUM ALGINATE (100 MG), MAGNESIUM ALUMINIUM SILICATE (40 MG)

Magaldrate is an antacid and alkalizer. Magaldrate is used in the treatment of acidity, intestinal ulcers and stomach ulcers.

Precautions for EFACID SYP and its Constituents


Do not take it for more than 2 weeks, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor. Avoid Magaldrate, if  you show signs of appendicitis or inflammed bowel (such as lower abdominal pain, cramping, bloating, nausea, vomiting). Please consult your doctor. Do not take the Magaldrate at least 2 hours before or after taking other medicines. It may interact with other medicines.

Symptoms of Overdosage

MAGALDRATE over-dosage can result in: Difficulty Breathing
