FLUDARABINE is a Schedule H drug.
Fludarabine is a cancer medication that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Fludarabine is used to treat B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Fludarabine is usually given after other cancer medications have been tried without successful response to treatment.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of bone marrow or blood problems, kidney impairment, who are taking other medications, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause dizziness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. It may reduce platelet counts; avoid injury or bruising. Monitor complete blood cell counts, kidney and liver function tests, and blood electrolyte levels regularly while taking this medication.Avoid exposure to sunlight.
