Alprazolam is an benzodiazepine. It affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with anxiety.
Alprazolam is used to treat anxiety disordes and panic disorders.

Sertraline is an antidepressant in a group of drugs called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Sertraline affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with depression, panic, anxiety, or obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Sertraline is used to treat depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).

How Do I Take It?

RELAX S TAB is generally taken Before Food.

Precautions for RELAX S TAB and its Constituents


Caution should be exercised in the patients with history of asthma, depression and suicidal thoughts.
It may decrease alertness and coordination. Dont drive while taking this medication.

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of hypomania and seizure disorders, liver or kidney damage, heart disease, recent heart attack, bleeding disorders, diabetes and angle-closure glaucoma. Discontinue treatment if seizures develop or if there is an increase in seizure frequency. Monitor for signs of clinical worsening, suicidality and unusual changes in behavior especially during the initial treatment period or when there are dosage adjustments. Patient may develop with increased risk of Serotonin Syndrome with the following symptoms: restlessness, diarrhea, fast heart beat, incoordination, nausea, vomiting. If it is so consult with your healthcare provider.

ALPRAZOLAM over-dosage can result in: Drowsiness, Loss Of Balance, Confusion
SERTRALINE over-dosage can result in: Dizziness, Fainting

SERTRALINE : Diarrhoea, Nausea, Drowsiness, Dry Mouth, Loss Of Appetite, Body Excessive Sweating, Abdomen Upset Stomach, Difficulty Sleeping

Serious Side-Effects

ALPRAZOLAM : Tinnitus, Hallucination, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Nasal Congestion, Nausea, Dark Colored (brown) Urine, Cough, Sneezing
SERTRALINE : Bloody Or Red Colored Stools, Vomit, Eyes Pain, Eyes Swelling, Eyes Redness, Eyes Enlarged (dilated) Pupils, Eyes Blurred Vision
