MOUDEN MOUTHWASH is a Schedule H drug.

MOUDEN MOUTHWASH is composed of: CHLORHEXIDINE (0.2 %W/W), SODIUM BENZOATE (0.2 %W/W)

Chlorhexidine is an antiseptic that fights bacteria. Chlorhexidine topical (for the skin) is used to clean the skin to prevent infection that may be caused by surgery, injection or skin injury.

It is used to treat urea cycle problems.

Usage

CHLORHEXIDINE is generally used to treat: Bacterial Infection

SODIUM BENZOATE is generally used to treat: Hyperammonemia
SODIUM BENZOATE can address symptoms like: Restless Or Irritability, Vomit, Hyperventilating (rapid/deep Breathing), Seizures (uncontrollable Jerking Of Limbs)

Precautions for MOUDEN MOUTHWASH and its Constituents


Avoid getting this medicine in your eyes, ears, nose, mouth, rectum, or vagina. If this does happen, rinse with water. Avoid using other medicines on the areas you treat with chlorhexidine topical unless your doctor tells you to. Avoid getting this medicine on your clothing or other fabrics.
  • You should not use sodium benzoate ,if  you are allergic to it.
  • Follow the diet plan that your doctor told you about.
  • Use sodium phenylacetate and sodium benzoate as ordered by your doctor.

Common Side-Effects

SODIUM BENZOATE : Diarrhoea, Skin Rash, Night Terrors, Depression, Drowsiness, Fatigue (tiredness), Abdomen Pain, Dry Mouth, Agitation, Anxiety, Dizziness, Mouth Bleeding, Black (tar) Colored Stools, Hallucinations, Head Headache, Lightheadedness, Mood Swings, Pale Skin, Rapid Breathing, Restless Or Irritability, Difficulty Breathing, Fever

Serious Side-Effects

SODIUM BENZOATE : Seizure, Muscle Cramp, Bloody Or Red Colored Vomit, Blood Or Red Colored Urine, Bloody Or Red Colored Stools, Eyes Blurred Vision, Decreased Urination, Fruity Odor On Breath, Increased Thirst, Frequent Urination, Loss Of Appetite, Irregular Heartbeat, Hands Numbness, Feet Numbness, Shortness Of Breath, Body Excessive Sweating, Weight Loss (unintentional)
