MGD3 60K TAB is composed of: VIT D3 CHOLECALCIFEROL (6000 IU), MAGNESIUM (250 MG), PYRAZINAMIDE ( NAN), RIFAMPICIN ( NAN), VITAMIN B6 (PYRIDOXINE) ( NAN)



Pyrazinamide is an antibiotic that fights bacteria. Pyrazinamide is used to treat tuberculosis (TB) in adults and children. Pyrazinamide must be used with other TB medicines. Tuberculosis can become resistant to treatment if pyrazinamide is used alone.

Rifampicin is an antibiotic. It works by inactivating a bacterial enzyme (RNA-polymerase) which is required by bacteria to make essential proteins and to reproduce. Rifampicin is used in the treatment of tuberculosis and leprosy.

Precautions for MGD3 60K TAB and its Constituents




Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver or kidney disease, diabetes, gout, high uric acid level in the blood, alcoholism, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking this medication. Avoid live vaccination during treatment period.

It is best taken on an empty stomach. If you get an upset stomach, try taking it with small portions of food. Your urine, tears and other secretions may become orange-red in colour. Avoid using contact lenses since they may become discolored. Avoid taking hormone-based birth control methods as Rifampicin may decrease their effectiveness.

RIFAMPICIN : Head Headache, Dizziness, Vomit, Nausea, Fever, Chills

PYRAZINAMIDE : Fatigue (tiredness), Weakness (generalized), Abdomen Pain, Eyes Yellow Eyes, Dark Colored (brown) Urine

PYRAZINAMIDE : Skin Rash, Face Swelling, Body Itching, Difficulty Breathing
