Pyridostigmine affects chemicals in the body that are involved in the communication between nerve impulses and muscle movement. Pyridostigmine is used to treat the symptoms of myasthenia gravis. It is also used in military personnel who have been exposed to nerve gas.

GRAVITOR 60MG TAB is generally taken With Food.

Precautions for GRAVITOR 60MG TAB and its Constituents

Caution needed for patients with history of kidney impairment, pregnancy and breastfeeding, epilepsy, bronchial asthma, slow heartbeat, abnormal heart rhythms, recent coronary occlusion, overactive thyroid, peptic ulcer, recent bladder/intestinal surgery. Care should be taken in the use of atropine for counteracting side effects. It may make you drowsy. Do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.

Symptoms of Overdosage

PYRIDOSTIGMINE over-dosage can result in: Nausea, Vomit, Abdomen Stomach Cramps, Eyes Blurred Vision, Drooling, Slow Or Irregular Breathing

Common Side-Effects

PYRIDOSTIGMINE : Diarrhoea, Runny Nose, Body Excessive Sweating, Eyes Small (constricted) Pupils, Frequent Urination

Serious Side-Effects

PYRIDOSTIGMINE : Dizziness, Weakness (generalized)

Rare Side-Effects

PYRIDOSTIGMINE : Skin Rash, Face Swelling, Body Itching
