LINAGLIPTIN

Overview

LINAGLIPTIN is a Schedule H antibiotic.
Linagliptin is an oral diabetes medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. It works by regulating the levels of insulin your body produces after eating. Linagliptin is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This medicine is not for treating type 1 diabetes.

Precautions


Caution should be exercised in patients with history of inflammation of the pancreas, using insulin, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.  Follow the diet and exercise program as directed by your physician.  Monitor fasting blood glucose and hemoglobin A1c regularly while taking this medication.

LINAGLIPTIN over-dosage can result in: Difficulty Breathing

LINAGLIPTIN : Anxiety, Eyes Blurred Vision, Chills, Confusion, Dizziness, Rapid Heart Rate (pulse), Head Headache, Nausea, Seizures (uncontrollable Jerking Of Limbs), Slurred Speech, Fatigue (tiredness), Weakness (generalized)

LINAGLIPTIN : Body Itching, Face Swelling, Dizziness, Difficulty Breathing

LINAGLIPTIN can interfere with: Pancreatitis
