HYDRALAZINE is a Schedule H drug.
Hydralazine is a vasodilator that works by relaxing the muscles in your blood vessels to help them dilate (widen). This lowers blood pressure and allows blood to flow more easily through your veins and arteries. Hydralazine is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart disease, kidney or liver disease, heart attack, any allergy, who are taking other medications, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid alcohol consumption. Monitor complete blood counts, blood pressure and antinuclear antibody titers while taking this medication.

Symptoms of Overdosage

HYDRALAZINE over-dosage can result in: Difficulty Breathing, Dizziness, Fainting, Left Arm Pain, Chest Pain, Jaws Pain, Irregular Heartbeat

Serious Side-Effects

HYDRALAZINE : Fatigue (tiredness), Dark Colored (brown) Urine, Throat Soreness, Fever, Chills

HYDRALAZINE : Skin Rash, Body Itching, Face Swelling, Dizziness, Difficulty Breathing

HYDRALAZINE can interfere with: Lupus Erythematosus, Aortic Supravalvular Stenosis, Glomerulonephritis, Acute Renal Failure
