Panitumumab is a cancer medicine that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. Panitumumab is used to treat a certain type of metastatic colorectal cancer that has progressed after treatment with other chemotherapy. Panitumumab is used only if your tumor is a wild-type RAS tumor, for which your doctor will test.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of diarrhea, dehydration, lung disease, skin problem, stomach problem, who are taking other medications, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid exposure to sunlight.
