INDINAVIR is a Schedule H antibiotic.
Indinavir is an antiviral medicine that prevents human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from multiplying in your body. Indinavir is used to treat HIV, the virus that can cause acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Indinavir is not a cure for HIV or AIDS.

INDINAVIR is generally taken Before Food.

Precautions

Children may be more sensitive to the side effects of this drug, especially effects on the kidney (such as kidney stones). Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medication. Treatment can lower the risk of passing HIV infection to your baby. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is unknown if this medication passes into breast milk. Because breast milk can transmit HIV, do not breast-feed. Take indinavir with a full glass (8 ounces) of water, skim milk, juice, coffee, or tea. Drink at least 6 glasses of water each day to prevent kidney stones while you are taking indinavir.

INDINAVIR over-dosage can result in: Nausea, Vomit, Loose Motion, Lower Back Pain, Blood Or Red Colored Urine
