VELPACLEAR TAB is composed of: SOFOSBUVIR (400 MG), VELPATASVIR (100 MG)

Sofosbuvir is an antiviral medication that prevents hepatitis C virus (HCV) from multiplying in your body. Sofosbuvir is used in combination with other medications to treat chronic hepatitis C in adults and children who are at least 12 years old or who weigh at least 77 pounds (35 kilograms).

How Do I Take It?

VELPACLEAR TAB is generally taken With Food.

Precautions

There must be at least a 4 hours’ gap between the intake of antacids and the sofosbuvir and velpatasvir drug combination to avoid interaction. Pregnancy should be avoided during treatment and effective birth control measures have to be followed for at least 6 months after stopping the sofosbuvir and velpatasvir drug combination along with ribavirin. The baby should not be breastfed while taking the sofosbuvir and velpatasvir combination with ribavirin as they might harm the baby.

SOFOSBUVIR : Diarrhoea, Fatigue (tiredness), Head Headache, Nausea, Body Itching, Difficulty Sleeping, Restless Or Irritability

Serious Side-Effects

SOFOSBUVIR : Pale Skin, Shortness Of Breath, Rapid Heart Rate (pulse)

Rare Side-Effects

SOFOSBUVIR : Skin Rash, Dizziness, Difficulty Breathing, Face Swelling
