MIXBIOTIC AC EAR DPS is composed of: CLOTRIMAZOLE (1.0 %), ACETIC ACID ( ), BECLOMETASONE (0.025 %), OFLOXACIN (0.3 %)


Clotrimazole topical is an antifungal medication that fights infections caused by fungus.Clotrimazole topical (for the skin) is used to treat skin infections such as athlete’s foot, jock itch, ringworm, and yeast infections.Clotrimazole is used in the treatment of fungal infections.Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication. It stops the growth of fungus by preventing them from forming their own protective covering which is required for their survival in the human.
Acetic acid is a natural acidic substance that is normally found in vinegar.Acetic acid vaginal (for use in the vagina) is used to increase the acidity inside the vaginal canal.Acetic acid is a prescription medication used to treat outer ear canal infections. This medication belongs to 2 groups of drugs -antibacterials and antifungals. It reduces pain and swelling in the ear by stopping bacteria and fungus from growing.It works by maintaining the pH thereby preventing the growth of bacteria and fungi. As a gel, it works by maintaining the pH in the vagina thereby restoring the normal vaginal acidity.

Beclomethasone is a steroid. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Beclomethasone inhalation is used to prevent asthma attacks in adults and children who are at least 5 years old. This medication will not treat an asthma attack that has already begun.


Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that fights bacteria in the body. Ofloxacin is used to treat bacterial infections of the skin, lungs, prostate, or urinary tract (bladder and kidneys). Ofloxacin is also used to treat pelvic inflammatory disease and Chlamydia and/or gonorrhea.
Fluoroquinolone antibiotics can cause serious or disabling side effects that may not be reversible. Ofloxacin should be used only for infections that cannot be treated with a safer antibiotic.

Precautions for MIXBIOTIC AC EAR DPS and its Constituents



  • You should not use clotrimazole topical if you are allergic to it.Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.Do not take by mouth. Clotrimazole topical is for use only on the skin.Wash your hands before and after using this medicine, unless you are using it to treat a hand infection.Clean and dry the affected area. Apply a small amount of the cream (usually twice daily) for 2 to 4 weeks.
  • Your doctor has prescribed Clotrimazole to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

  • Seek medical attention if you experience any signs of allergic reactions such as hives, difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
  • Avoid contact with eyes. Rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact.
  • When using for external ear canal infection, do not use acetic acid if you have a hole in your ear drum. Clean your ear properly to remove any wax before application of the medication to allow contact with the infected areas.
  • Continue using acetic acid for the prescribed time even if the symptoms disappear, as stopping the medication too early may allow the bacteria to grow again.
  • When using for maintaining vaginal pH, you may be monitored for vaginal toxicity during the treatment with acetic acid.
  • Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
  • Do not take if allergic to acetic acid or any of its ingredient.
  • Do not take if having perforated or ruptured ear drum.
  • Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
  • Do not take by mouth. Acetic acid vaginal is for use only in the vagina.
  • Acetic acid vaginal is most commonly used every day, in the morning and in the evening.
  • Wash your hands before and after using vaginal medication.
  • Use this medicine only with the applicator provided.
  • Do not reuse a disposable douche applicator or bottle.
  • You can use a sanitary napkin to prevent the medicine from staining your clothing, but do not use a tampon.
  • Avoid getting this medication in your eyes, nose, mouth, or rectum. If this does happen, rinse with water.
  • Avoid wearing tight-fitting, synthetic clothing (such as panty hose) that does not allow air circulation. Wear loose-fitting clothing made of cotton and other natural fibers until your condition is treated.

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of tuberculosis (TB), chickenpox, liver, kidney or heart disease, sugar, under active thyroid, high blood pressure, mental illness, muscle pain/weakness, joint inflammation, eye infection, seizures, ulcer, any allergy, who taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid contact with eyes. Since it takes time to get rid off from your health condition, continue to use it as directed by your healthcare provider. Avoid contact with people with chickenpox, measles or shingles.
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of joint problems, rheumatoid arthritis, heart, kidney, or lung transplant; Alzheimer disease, seizures, stroke, central nervous system disorder, heart, liver, or kidney disease, decrease in blood minerals, any allergy, who are taking other medications, children, elderly, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or light-headedness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. Avoid exposure to sunlight. It may affect blood sugar level; monitor sugar level regularly. Avoid alcohol consumption. Avoid long-term use of this medication; otherwise it may cause secondary infection.
