Precautions for FLURAZ 15MG CAP and its Constituents


  • If you are taking Flurazepam for the treatment of insomnia and anxiety, it should not be used more than 4 weeks.
  • It may become less effective over the time.
  • It causes sleepiness or drowsiness. If this happens to you, do not drive or use machinery.
  • Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Flurazepam, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.
  • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
  • Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. The addiction / habit-forming potential of Flurazepam is very high.
  • You should not use flurazepam if you are allergic to it.
  • Follow all directions on your prescription label.
  • Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
  • Take flurazepam only if you are able to get a full night’s sleep before you must be active again.
  • Do not stop using flurazepam suddenly, or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Your insomnia symptoms may return when you stop using flurazepam after using it over a long period of time.
  • You may need to use less and less before you stop the medication completely.
