ASOLT XL 400MG/325MG/350MG TAB is composed of: IBUPROFEN (400.0 MG), METHOCARBAMOL (350.0 MG), PARACETAMOL (325.0 MG)

Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body. Ibuprofen is used to reduce fever and treat pain or inflammation caused by many conditions such as a headache, toothache, back pain, arthritis, menstrual cramps, or minor injury. This medicine can be used in children and adolescents of all ages.

Methocarbamol is a muscle relaxant.Methocarbamol is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat skeletal muscle conditions such as pain or injury.Methocarbamol is used to relax muscles and relieve pain and discomfort caused by muscle injuries. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm without reduction in strength. This improves pain and movement of muscles.


Paracetamol is a pain reliever and a fever reducer. The exact mechanism of action of is not known. Paracetamol is used to treat many conditions such as a headache, muscle aches, arthritis, backache, toothaches, colds, and fevers. It relieves pain in mild arthritis but has no effect on the underlying inflammation and swelling of the joint.

Precautions for ASOLT XL 400MG/325MG/350MG TAB and its Constituents


Caution should be exercised in patients with high blood pressure, blood disorders, bleeding problem, heart disease, blood vessel disease, asthma, nose polyps, kidney or liver disease, diabetes, dehydration, alcohol abuse, any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may cause dizziness or drowsiness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication. It may cause stomach bleeding or ulcer; if it so consult with your doctor. Avoid alcohol consumption.
  • You should not use this medication if you are allergic to methocarbamol.
  • Methocarbamol may impair your thinking or reactions. Be careful if you drive or do anything that requires you to be alert.
  • Before using methocarbamol, tell your doctor if you have myasthenia gravis.
  • Take methocarbamol exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
  • Do not take in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
  • Follow the directions on your prescription label.
  • Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems.
  • Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of asthma, bleeding problems, growths in the nose, heart, kidney or liver disease, liver inflammation, high blood pressure, chickenpox, anxiety, trouble in sleeping, ulcers, stomach problems, stroke, Kawasaki syndrome, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Avoid alcohol consumption. It should not be used in children with infections such as flu, chickenpox or viral infections. Avoid large amount of caffeinated beverages while taking this medication. It may reduce platelet counts; avoid injury or bruising.
