Yoga and Exercise
- Exercises focused on your wrist, hand and arm to strengthen your muscles, reduce pain, and limit the irritation of the tendons will be helpful. A physiotherapist will be able to recommend a proper exercise program.
- Maintain thumb range of motion as your comfort level allows.
- Take plenty of rest
- Using an ice pack for 15-20 minutes at a time
- Avoid activity that causes the pain
- Using a thumb splint to reduce pain and swelling to allow the wrist to rest
