Food and Nutrition

Foods to be taken
  • Drink adequate amount of fluids
  • Ginger
  • Whole grain bread and legumes
  • Low salt intake/low sodium intake

Yoga and Exercise

Sit down in a chair and place a pillow next to the ear that experiences the most positional vertigo discomfort move your head into the pillow and down to your waist. Close your eyes if desired and rest your head until the symptoms subside. Return to the upright position and pause until any returned symptoms subside or 30 seconds have elapsed. Repeat the exercise with the other ear.

Home Remedies

  • Avoid head provoking positions such as bending over at the waist, lying down flat for a nap, or turning your head far up or down.
  • At night, you may sleep in your normal position in bed, and you do not need to keep your head elevated in any special way.
