Prevention Tips

  • Exercise regularly. 
  • Drink plenty of fluids, like water and juice, but avoid excess alcohol and caffeine
  • Exercise while you sit
  • Do not smoke                                        
  • Avoid crossing your legs    
  • Do not wear tight-fitting clothing
  • Lose weight if you are overweight

Watch Out

  • Redness and/or discoloured skin
  • Coughing up blood or bloody mucus

When to See Doctor

Consult a doctor if you have symptoms like:
  • Severe breathlessness 
  • Chest or upper back pain
  • Severe coughing with or without mucus
  • Feeling lightheaded or dizzy
  • Irregular heart beat
