Rubella: Symptom and Causes

Symptoms

Appearance of rash on the face which spreads to the trunk and limbs and usually fades after three days.
  • Fever less than 1100 F            
  • Swollen glands
  • Joint pain
  • Headache
  • Itching
  • Cold like symptoms
  • Inflamed, red eyes
  • Loss of appetite

Causes

Rubella is caused by a virus. It can be spread in airborne droplets, such as from a cough or sneeze, from an infected person. It can also spread by close contact or by sharing any things of the infected person.
