Foods to be taken
  • Drink lots of fluids (not alcohol) at least 8 glass each day
  • Consuming foods that are high in dietary fiber can minimize the risk of developing haemorrhoids.

  3. Oatmeal
  4. Pears, bran
  5. Carrots
  6. Papayas and figs

  • Alcohol should also be avoided as it can contribute to small, dry stools
  • Avoid acid forming foods such as sugar, animal protein, dairy, and caffeine-containing food and beverages, as well as all beverages with soda

Yoga and Exercise

  • Glute exercises will be very beneficial to your haemorrhoids condition and will strengthen the muscles around your rectal area.
  • Walking for 20-30 minutes per day will do wonders to help cure your haemorrhoids.

Home Remedies

  • Soak regularly in Sitz baths (warm bath). Sit in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes 2 to 3 times a day which will be very helpful.
  • Apply ice packs or cold compresses on your anus to relieve swelling.
