Symptoms

Primary open angle glaucoma symptoms include
  • Loss of peripheral vision gradually in both eyes
  • Tunnel vision

Glaucoma Symptoms

Acute closed angle glaucoma symptoms include
  • Eye pain (severe)
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Blurred vision
  • Red eyes
  • Halos around eyes
  • Sudden unexpected loss of vision when lighting is poor
Congenital glaucoma symptoms are usually noticed when the child is a few months old
  • Cloudiness of the front of the eye
  • Enlargement of one eye or both eyes
  • Red eye
  • Sensitivity to light
  • Tearing

Causes
