Albendazole is an Anti helmintic or Anti worm medication. It prevents newly hatched insect larvae from growing or multiplying in your body.
Albendazole is used to treat certain infection caused by worms such as Pork Tapeworm and Dog Tapeworm.


Levamisole is an anthelminthic and immunomodulator, prescribed for cancer treatment and also used for roundworm infection. It interferes with the growth of cancer cells and slows their growth and spread in the body. It is used in the treatment of colon cancer.

Precautions for LEBEN 400MG/150MG TAB and its Constituents


Monitor blood counts and liver function.
In young children the tablets should be crushed or chewed and swallowed with glass of water.
It may cause dizziness. Don’t drive while taking this medication.

It may lead to liver damage, may cause skin, nose and vaginal dryness, may affect other organs of the body, including the kidneys, blood vessels, lungs, liver, pancreas, and brain(Sjogren’s syndrome). Avoid changing dosage without consulting with healthcare providers.

Food Interactions


Food significantly increases the absorption of albendazole. Take it on empty stomach may lead to inadequate blood levels and reduced effectiveness of the medication. Grape fruit juice increase the absorption of albendazole.
