Precautions for EUPEN S INJ and its Constituents

Caution needed for patients with history of hypersensitivity to carbapenem, pencillin or other beta-lactam antibiotics; infants <3 months; kidney malfunction, neurological disorders, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. Not recommended for use in MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) infections.

MEROPENEM : Abdomen Upset Stomach, Head Headache, Nausea, Vomit, Constipation

Serious Side-Effects

MEROPENEM : Ringing In Ears, Mood Swings, Confusion, Ankles Swelling, Weight Gain, Fatigue (tiredness), Weakness (generalized), Seizures (uncontrollable Jerking Of Limbs)

Rare Side-Effects

MEROPENEM : Skin Rash, Dizziness, Difficulty Breathing, Face Swelling
