Prevention Tips

  • Try not to irritate areas on the body that have been previously affected.
  • For hereditary AE, genetic counselling may be helpful.
  • Make a note of foods which causes allergy and try to avoid them.

Watch Out

  • Pain, itching
  • Swelling of the affected area

When to See Doctor

Consult a doctor if you experience
  • The symptoms for first time
  • Condition does not respond to treatment or medication provided
  • Decrease in BP
  • Difficulty in breathing
  • Mental confusion
